Frequently Asked Questions

  • Million dollar question - What is “a look”? 

“A look” is a combination of wardrobe, makeup, hair style, and location. Changing any of those things during your shoot would be considered a “new look”.

 

  • Which package do I book If I need a: Social Media Content Shoot, Birthday Shoot, Swimwear Shoot, Fashion Shoot?

All of the above fall under the Beauty/Portrait session.

 

  • Do you do headshots?

Absolutely. I am here to make you look phenomenal for whatever it is that you need those headshots for. 

 

  • Do you photograph pets?

Yes, I love all fur babies! Bring your pet and let’s create memories that will last a lifetime.

  • Do you photograph children?

Yes I do. You are welcome to book a shoot for your children. Whether prom pictures or kindergarten graduation, I got you covered. At least one parent must be present at all times. 

 

  • Why should I choose you as my photographer?

1. I love the art of photography, more importantly I love the challenge of composing and creating timeless photographs that my clients truly enjoy. 

2. I’m multi-talented. If your hair falls apart, or you accidentally wipe your eyebrow make-up off, I got you covered - and I can finally say that all those hours I spent on Youtube, learning beauty tips and tricks have finally paid off.  

3. I really want you to be happy with you images.

4. I'm fun, I smell fantastic, and you will probably want to be my friend after your session is over. 

5. I'm professional, quick, and my editing skills are off the charts!

  • Will I receive all images from my session?

I value creating the best quality work for my clients as well as delivering the finished images in a manner that represents both parties at our best. Professional retouching is an essential part of this. Therefore, I do not provide unretouched originals.

 

  • When will I receive my images?

Typically, you will receive your retouched images within 7 days. Some packages offer quicker turnaround times, others may take a bit longer. You can find those details under each available booking session under the Book Online tab.

 

  • What type of camera do you use?

The best ones of course. Canon & Sony. I switch it up depending on what I am shooting. 

 

  • Do you shoot in a studio or outdoors?

While I primarily work outdoors, I am flexible in my work, and we can shoot in whichever setting that you prefer.

 

  • I don’t know how to pose, will you help me?

I got your back! I will guide and direct you to make sure I capture the true essence of your beauty.

 

  • Do you offer consultations?

Absolutely! Once you book your session I will reach out to you to make sure all your questions and concern are being addressed. 

 

  • Is Hair & Make-Up included? 

Hair & Make-Up is not included in your package, but I can refer you to some of the best artists in the city. I generally recommend hiring a professional Hair & Make-Up artist for all sessions unless you're very good at doing it yourself. If you need me to help you with this, please let me know ahead of time so that I can point you in the right direction. Otherwise please come to your appointment with your Hair & Make-Up ready. (The Hair & Make-Up artist’s fees are separate and paid directly to them)

 

  • Is retouching included?

Each session includes a number of retouched pictures. Additional High-End retouching is available for $25 per extra image. 

 

  • How far in advance should my appointment?

I recommend booking your session at least 7-14 days before your desired date, but we can make things work as long as you book your shoot at least 24 hours ahead of time.

 

  • What is your rescheduling policy?

If you need to reschedule your session, you must do so at least 24 hours prior to your shoot date to avoid a forfeiture of your payment. 

If you need to reschedule but you are past the 24 hour limit, a 20% fee will apply. Complimentary rescheduling is available if you are having a medical emergency.

 

  • What is your cancellations policy?

All deposits/session payments are non-refundable so cancellations will result in loss of payment.

  • What should I wear?

I will go over wardrobe with you prior to your shoot to ensure we have the best looks for your pictures.

 

  • Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely! I want you to feel as comfortable as possible, therefore you may bring one guest with you. Keep in mind, guests are not allowed to take any BTS footage unless discussed otherwise.
